Craig Breen 1990 - 2023
The IRDC shares the shock and grief currently being experienced throughout the whole motorsport community on the news of Craig Breen's tragic death. It is reported that the front-left of his car collided with a pole on a road between Stari Golubovec and Lobor at 12:40 pm local time while testing for this weekend's Rally Croatia. Craig's co-driver James Fulton was uninjured.
Craig was a talented international rally driver as well as being a true, down to earth enthusiast who enjoyed driving his own Metro 6R4 in a demonstration at Rallyday for his many fans as much as driving his works Puma for M-Sport or i20 N Rally 1 for Hyundai in World Rally Championship events.
We extend our condolences to Craig's family and many friends. RIP Craig Breen
