Monte Carlo Historique Update

The leader board after the second full day of the 22nd Rally Monte Carlo Historique shows that engine power really is no match for gile and cunning on maps & stopwatch with a humble Renault R8 leading a Polish Zastava 101 and an Italian Lancia Fulvia 1.3 in third place - a truly international affair!

Michel Badosa/MogenReidl lead the rally from Stanislaw & Andrzej Postawaka in second and Massimo Canella/Nicolas Arena in third place. French rally legend Bruno Saby is in 9th place driving a Renault R8 Gordini and former north American rally champion John Buffum in 25th in his Porsche 911.

Best British and IRDC team crew are the Milan starters, David Stanley/Bernard Northmore in their reliable Triumph TR4. Snow and poor visibility are now making the route more challenging for competitors with traditional Monte Carlo Rally ingrediants.
