Monte Carlo Historique heads for Dover
Reminiscent of the memorable film of the 70's starring Tony Curtis - 'Monte Carlo or Bust', competitors on the 2014 Monte Carlo Historique Rally experienced an unforgettable farewell from the appreciative crowd of fans and well-wishers gathered at Paisley for the UK start point chosen by some competitors on this year's event.
Thousands thronged the Glasgow streets to watch the eclectic group of rally cars depart. Midday saw competitors leaving Barnby Moor and hoping to pass London and be in Dover before the rush hour traffic with the objective of Dinner in Calais!
