BRC Round 5 - Rally Yorkshire

This weekend sees the NGK Spark Plugs BRC Challenge heading into North Yorkshire for round five of the 2013 MSA BRC championship, an event which could potentially prove pivotal in deciding the destiny of this year's titles - can Tom Cave repeat his success in Yorkshire of 2012?

The legendary forest stages to the north of the market town of Pickering that challenged the WRC in the halcyon days of the RAC Rally, have thrown up some spectacular BRCC action over the years and the 2013 edition promises to be no different.

Proceedings will blast away from the ceremonial start at Pickering Market Place under the cover of darkness at 7:30 pm on Friday evening, as the BRC circus reconvenes for its first competitive action since the Jim Clark Rally in May.

This, the fifth round of the British Rally Championship and sixth round of the NGK Spark Plugs BRC Challenge and also includes the Trackrod Pre-87 & Historic Cup, Land Rover Challenge and a round of the BTRDA Rally Series. The Historic section will be the first cars on the stages closely followed by the NGK BRC and then the main stars of the British Rally Championship
