Scottish Rally - BRC Round 3

Round three of the MSA British Rally Championship (BRC) and NGK Spark Plugs BRC Challenge The RSAC Scottish Rally takes place in Dumfries and Galloway, south-west Scotland on 28th/29th June and the rally also includes a round of the MSA Scottish Rally Championship and the Motoscope Northern Historic Rally Championship.

Spectators will have the opportunity to see a range of iconic rally cars competing from the 1960s through to the modern era and at the end of the field will be the popular Army Land Rovers, marking their fiftieth anniversary of first appearing on the rally.

The event will be based at Dumfries Ice Bowl in the centre of Dumfries which will also be home to scrutineering. Entrance and car parking is free. The Service Park will be located at Heathhall Airfield, two miles outside Dumfries and the Rally begins with a Ceremonial Start in Dumfries High Street between 7.00 and 8.00 pm on Friday 28th June.

Friday 28 June
14.00 - cars arrive Dumfries Ice Bowl for scrutineering
18.30 - cars arrive in Dumfries High Street for the ceremonial start

Saturday 29 June
07.30 - cars leave Dumfries for the Forest of Ae, first of two stages.
08.00 - start of the first stage
09:15 - spectator stage at Heathhall
09.20 - cars arrive back at the Service Park at Heathhall Airfield
10.15 - start of stage four in the Forest of Ae & repeat of first two tests
11.30 - cars arrive back at the Service Park at Heathhall Airfield
12.15 - spectator stage at Heathhall
13.25 - start of stage seven in Clatteringshaws Forest
15.45 - Challenge cars return to Dumfries High Street- finish & awards
17.50 - BRC cars arrive at Dumfries High Street for finish & awards
