Testing time for Citroen in Wales

Despite Sebastien Loeb cutting back on his WRC commitments in 2013 to further his circuit racing aspirations, Citroen is getting its money's worth from the Frenchman before the end of the season with Seb and teammate Mikko Hirvonen completing an intensive two-day testing session in Tarenig forest, close to Myherin in mid Wales.

Both Citroen drivers completed around 150 miles driving the WRC DS3 factory machines with the stage track conditions almost identical to those experienced by the drivers on September's Wales Rally GB.

Hirvonen said; "The car is agile, but in slippery conditions it slides too much, especially at high speed. We are looking for a solution but are not quite there yet and are progressing though. We can be a rally winner here next year."
