Rally Stars at Goodwood 28th June-1st July
Once again, the organisers of the Goodwood Festival of Speed have succeeded in attracting a glittering array of past and present drivers from the world of rallying for the UK's 2012 motorsport showcase event.
Drivers include Juho Hanninen, Thierry Neuville, Jan Kopecky and Skoda UK Motorsport's 2011 IRC Champion, Andreas Mikkelsen, who will be thrilling spectators on the popular Forest Rally Stage situated at the top of the hill and also giving fans the opportunity to meet them in the paddock for an autograph.
Along with these current stars, many other rallying greats will be reacquainted with the cars that made them famous. These include Juha Kankkunen, Rauno Aaltonen, Jimmy McRae, Hannu Mikkola and Russell Brookes. In addition, rally loving TV chef James Martin and off-road racer Jesse James from the USA will also be in action on the Forest Rally Stage.
The International Rally Driver's Club is proud to be assisting the rally stage director Rick Smith with paddock duties and the club's gazebo will be on hand for members to visit.
