Goodwood Revival Meeting 16th - 18th Sept

Well-known faces from most motor sport disciplines will be in action at this year's Goodwood Revival meeting including Formula One stars, endurance racing champions, tin top tearaways and top bikers; often competing in the most unlikely of machines, but the IRDC is delighted to report that rallying is well represented among these stars.
Scandinavian rallying greats Stig Blomqvist and Rauno Aaltonen will join a glittering array of racing legends in the St Mary's Trophy race for 1960's saloon cars driving a Saab 96 and Mini Cooper respectively. Other drivers with a strong rallying connection are also likely to feature strongly in this race including 1969 BTCC champion and former rally winner Alec Poole, who will drive an Alfa Romeo GTA Sprint.
IRDC honorary member and versatile all-rounder Barrie 'Whizzo' Williams will drive the fearsome Ford Galaxie in the St Mary's Trophy as well as a priceless Ferrari 250 GT SWB/C in the RAC TT whilst Tony Dron will be seen in Jaguar E2A in the Sussex Trophy and an Aston Martin DB4 Zagato in the RAC TT.
Current international rally competitor and former TV F1 pundit Tony Jardine drives an example of the ubiquitous Alfa GTA also in the St Mary's Trophy and recent convert to historic rallying, ex BTCC racer Patrick Watts can be seen peddling an Alfa 2600 Sprint amongst the capacity field in the eagerly anticipated and ever popular St Mary's Trophy.
Practice starts 09:00am Friday 16th and the all action portfolio of races from 09:00 am Saturday 17th and Sunday 18th.
