IRDC Vice President's Title Delight
It was the perfect end to the season for the JRM rally team with IRDC vice president Gwyndaf Evans and co-driver Claire Mole, when they won the sixth round of the Dulux Trade MSA British Rally Championship - the International Rally Yorkshire - enabling JRM to secure the British Teams' title. The victory was the third of the season for the veteran driver and the first ever BRC vicotry for Mole.
There was also a second place and victory in the final round of the Evolution Challenge for team-mate Alister Fisher - who also took the Pirelli Start Driver Award - which delighted the team.
Evan's son Elfyn - 2010 Kick Energy Fiesta Sport Trophy UK Champion - make it a perfect seven wins from seven starts on the Trackrod International, overcoming problems that included sliding into a hay bale!
